Simply stunning - all of it. The photography and the music. Sublime.
Funny. I recently read a mystery (escape lit for librarians) by Charles Todd called, "A Pale Horse." Didn't realize the white horse cut into the hillside is fact and not fiction. Will have to learn more about this.
Some of England's terrain consists of a thin layer of topsoil over chalk, so such figures are easy to make by cutting into the ground. There are quite a few, of varying notoriety. Ever hear of the Cerne giant?
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Thanks for commenting!
Well, it's easy enough to see why the giant is "an aid to fertility!"
