Although I don't have a drop of Irish blood in my heritage,
It never occurred to me before, but I probably do. The gene pool of those islands has been pretty well mixed, and millions of Irish have come to England over the centuries.
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Although I don't have a drop of Irish blood in my heritage, my last name, through marriage, is about as Irish as Irish can be.
My immediate and extended family, through marriages, is half Irish. Quite typical for Boston's Irish and Italian heritages.
The Irish men in our family love our Italian cooking, and we Italian women love the poetry in the soul of the Irish.
"Up the Republic!"
Thanks for the video.
