Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

I liked that first video because it had silly elephants running around the world. Or is that another video/news item I'm thinking about?
OMG - what a way to get me laughing out loud on the 1st day of October!(lol) Hugs, RO
Love the rapture!
Those are funny. I tried learning the roman numerials when I was a kid and it was so confusing.
Thanks for the laughs. It'd be hard to pick which of these videos I liked most, but they're all winners. I will confess, however, that even though I'm a "lady" of advanced years, I still think flatulence is hilarious. Yeah, I know. I have a very sophisticated and discerning sense of humor. :)
No Thoughts: I guess silly elephants are a problem in many eras.
RO: A bit of humor is always nice.
Lady M: One of these days I'm going to fill a bunch of inflatable dolls with helium and actually try that in the Bible Belt somewhere.
Mary: We should all be grateful to India for positional notation.
Susan: I think an appreciation of fart humor is the one thing that unites all of humanity.
Contact did it for me.
Izzard has always been hysterical.
XoXo
Anon: Izzard does bend the truth a bit. Most of that "gibberish" is actually German. And any Slavic language like Russian or Polish is just as complicated as Latin, and they communicate just fine. But he expresses the frustration of generations of school kids who had to struggle with Latin as a second languages.
