I definitely don't think all the fundamentalist anti-Obama rhetoric going around has helped.

To certain crazed conservatives, OWS is more of a threat to democracy than is a guy with a gun who believes Mr. Obama is the anti-Christ and who would assassinate the duly elected president of the United States.
And for FAUX NOOZ readers, the assassination attempt by this guy who calls Mr. Obama the "anti-Christ, is the natural result of their campaign to smear and dehumanize the US president.
FOX cable news is a nest of treasonous snakes.
