Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

I love that song! One of my favorite bits from that show was the adult hide and go seek league.
That's from a TV show? I didn't know. Oh, well, I think it's non-explicit enough that my blog's ad-free status isn't compromised.
(Actually piercings and tattoos gross me out, but the rest of it is cool.)
Very cute! (And it is a Great Town!)
Infodell ... Yes, it's from a tele programme, it was the opening theme song for the series actually, that's what I was pointing out in a posting on it., the show of course called "Portlandia" (cable). I recall you saying that you havent seen tele in many year's, but I believe you can catch it online, I would go to the IFC (Inde Film Channel) for info ....
BTW I agree with Andy on the "Adult Hide & Seek" episode : )
Ah. I must have forgotten that point being mentioned in your post. Thanks.
Love it! If I were young, I'd move there in a Boston minute! Who's the guy doing the video. He looks so familiar, but I can't come up with his name.
I'm a Portlander in spirit! Even if I'm not pierced. I do put a red clown nose on during the week, however.
I'm no fan of piercings, believe me! As for who the guy is, I don't know either -- I guess he's in TV, but I don't watch any more.
Our town's not quite as cool as the video makes out, but there's definitely a spirit to the place.
