Video of the week -- Cheb Khaled
I've loved this song for years, but only recently discovered this video of it. No idea why the guy with the beard is so grouchy.
Stand with Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan -- with democracy and civilization against tyranny and barbarism

Good Morning Mr.Infidel!
Never heard the piece or could even tell you what language or culture it is, but I did like the percussion's line/base of it.
Thank You ......
Catchy tune, isn't it? The language is Arabic, but I can't understand more than a word or two here and there -- Cheb Khaled is from Algeria, and the dialect there is very different from the standard Arabic I studied. Based on the clothes I'd guess the setting is India.
Maybe the family patriarch doesn't like the young girls choice of men, hence grouchiness.
Joyous piece.
What RC said, and the guy has an amazing voice.
Interesting piece of music there, Infidel. I felt it was set in India but wouldn't know any of the possible languages. Actually, I liked the dancing and costumes.
Infidel
I'll play American bandstand here.
Words and stuff were hard to follow but the beat rock.
Easy to dance to.
I'll give it a 7 Dick.
Only us old folks will get it.
I'll give it a 7 Dick.
Is that like Roger Ebert giving two thumbs up?:-)
Thank you for the song. You probably are a big fan of Khaled, have you some informations about Khaled and Citizens of the World song ?
