And again this silly distraction raises its head.....
Pick up the action here at Cannonfire, then follow the link in the first paragraph. To summarize, someone got hold of a document relating to the divorce of Barack Obama's parents years ago, and word began circulating among the Obama citizenship conspiracy theorists that this document contained some reference to the couple's son (that is, Obama himself) having been born in Kenya -- which would mean that he was not a "natural born" citizen in the Constitutional sense and would be disqualified from becoming President. The document was shipped to a radio broadcaster who had promised to examine it and proclaim the truth to the nation. Breathless enthusiasts tracked the progress of the Fedex envelope containing the document and announced its safe arrival. A time was set when all would be revealed.
And then.....nothing. The document contained no reference to Obama having been born outside the US. The broadcaster and bloggers changed the subject to a lengthy disquisition on the fact that Obama's father was not a US citizen, something which has been known for years and does not disqualify Obama himself from being a "natural born" citizen.
Can we please stop wasting time on this nonsense?

This one will continue like the notions that the Clintons were drug-dealing murderers....And this was BEFORE massive usage of the Internet.
MESSAGE TO EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS:
When counting the electoral votes, either Congress finds by 1/8/09 that Obama, not being an Article II “natural born citizen”, fails to qualify as President whereupon Biden becomes the full fledged President under 3 USC 19 (free to pick his own VP such as Hillary) or thereafter defers to the Supreme Court to enjoin Obama’s inauguration with Biden becoming only Acting President under the 20th Amendment until a new President is duly determined.
The preferable choice, at least for the Democrats, should seem obvious.

Obama's own website declares that his father was Kenyan/British, not American, citizen, when BHO was born. Hence, even if BHO were born in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House, he could not be a "natural born citizen" as required for Presidents under Article II of the Constitution.
Case closed. The Supreme Court most definitely knows this.

Already covered in the posting you were supposedly responding to. It has been well known for many years that Obama's father was not a US citizen when he was born. That fact has no impact on his status as a natural-born citizen, regardless of what a few addled bloggers may think.

I live in Dallas...and sometimes listen to a late night talk show called "Texas Overnight" in the background on the radio. They have quite an array of regular caller's who have some superstition's with some really off the wall theories. One of the most popular one's,is there seem's to be several Texan's who believe that there is a link between UFO's and Jesus,and Jesus is really a space alien who visit's frequently(there has been no talk whether he is illegal/
documented or not)There has also been much talk that Obama is a space alien himself...I reckon from another planet. Sometimes I feel some of these nutcases in Texas are from another planet! But the way I see it is these folk's are not going to give up soon and their going to try to make a case about Obama over something one way or another...but this has been an entertaining election year to say the least! Thank You. :)
