Cultists' nightmare?

Hmmm. Among rank-and-file Obamatards, some rumblings of discontent are being heard. Rather than packing his cabinet with mold-busting radical leftists, The One is assembling a team of establishment figures, many of them associated with the (shudder) Clintons. Maybe he realizes that, having won the toughest job on the planet, he needs as many experienced old hands on deck as he can get.

Could it be that there is some cosmic justice after all, and that this foreshadows the special circle of Hell now yawning open before Obama's vile cultists? That the Teleprompter Messiah is not going to give everyone their own magic unicorn or even appoint Dennis Kucinich as Secretary of State? That he's just an ordinary politician who used the cultists as he needed them, and will cast them aside to govern from the moderate left?

Obama can never be Hillary. But he may turn out to be what they thought Hillary was. If that is to be their punishment, it will be a tasty one to behold.

This will show them.

He is just a great politician, and probably will be a great leader.

As a non-supporter, as a citizen, does this please you?

Or just the part about the political cult being hurt, that pleases you?

All cults are bad.

Even cults that form to fight cults.

Well, it would be nice if that turns out to be the case, but I'm not expecting much.

Yep. Those people are utterly vile. I should know. I've been observing their antics for months, and have even been an occasional target. They deserve far worse than mere disillusionment, frankly.

All cults are bad. Even cults that form to fight cults.

If you're implying that PUMAs exhibit cult-like traits, you're wrong -- unless you define all strong feelings as cultism, which would be absurd. Our loathing of the Obama cultists is fully justified by their own behavior.

Obama is so far making the right choices..and he most importantly, at least"moves" and dont even get a paycheck to do so yet. He is a man who cares..and...I think he should do just fine..Clinton is also going to be part of the system. He will have to pick some insider's as well...it's all part of the game...plus...who the hell else is there to pick and from what pool? As far as "cultist's" and all this revenge on each other
heh,heh,heh...they act all like a bunch of little spoiled brat kid's. Let the serious men and women get the job done...and let the kiddies play. Is Obama ready? You bet! I didnt vote for him because I want to be with the cult for instance...I can and alway's stood my own ground.Heh,heh,heh...
you can say it's my nature. :) Thank you.

There is really no conflict between the two goods. As I say, my expectations of Obama are low; however, the better a President he turns out to be (by my lights), the more effectively the cultists will be excruciated. If you will allow me a moment's indulgence in fantasy.....

"News item, 21 January 2009: This morning, acting under orders from President Obama, the US military bombed the living crap out of the Iranian nuclear-weapons program. A subsequent barrage of small detonations across the United States, which was at first thought to be some form of Iranian counter-attack, turned out instead to have been the heads of the entire readership of the The Daily Kos exploding simultaneously. Israelis, PUMAs, and sensible people worldwide applauded both events."

Personally, I'm trying to figure out what the Obama supporters did that was so bad for you to hold a grudge like that. Sure they went over the top & were rude but, so were people on the other side of the fence.

It wasn't like they sacrificed babies, or forced other Obama supporters to drink poison kool-aid or anything like that. As a matter of fact how can you justify calling them "cultists" anyway?

Click on the link "vile cultists" in the posting.

There are millions of people who hold the same "grudge", by the way.

so were people on the other side of the fence

Not comparable. Not even close.

Reminder (not directed at Handmaiden): comments policy says "no insults".
