I agree, looking back at my classmates in school & also university. All those "cool" kids are now big "loosers". The so-called "nerds" or "pretentious group" (like me) are having a successful and wonderful life.

Somebody once said that "nerd" is just what morons call geniuses.
As an agnostic, I'm not much for militant anything...atheists or theists. Seem pretty much the same to me.
