Teabagging the GOP

This person thinks that Palin has a plan to launch a new political party rooted in the "tea party" movement. Oh please, God or Satan or whoever, let it be true!

(And yes, they are actually analyzing her "MacArthur" quote as evidence of her "sophisticated" grasp of military history without noticing that the quote is really from a different general, Oliver Prince Smith.)

Infidel. I suggest you look-up "tea-bagging" in the urban dictionary. You might be amused.

Somewhat OT for this post (but not your earlier ones). I suspect politically you live in interesting times in the USA.

Oh, I'm quite aware of the sexual meaning of "teabagging" (back when these parties started I linked to a Rachel Maddow video on the subject). The funny part is that so many of the tea-party types themselves apparently still aren't.

Thanks for visiting.

Hey Infidel! No need to thank me. I'm round all the time!

It is quite amusing that they don't know. Personally I think in order to thrash out their future they need to all get around the table and engage in a mass debate.

The debate might be a bit muffled from all the teabagging.....

It's a classic, so at the risk of having Nick bill me for a stack of keyboards, here's Rachel Maddow again.

Personally, I hope she does form a new party. If she does it will simply siphon off enough votes from the GOP to allow the Dems to stay in office. And if she decides to run on the GOP ticket, she will be eviscerated by her fellow Repubs in the primaries and it will be beautiful to behold. Then I wonder who she'll balme for what transpires? No, I don't fear Palin. I fear the mindset that actully sees her as a legitimate player on the national scene.
