Moods
Several of these were found via SickoRicko and Voenix Rising, which often post such images (both also post some NSFW material, so be aware if you check them out).
Stand with Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan -- with democracy and civilization against tyranny and barbarism

There's a lot about nothing in this post and I like it.
Well, yes!
This is quite the mood board. The one about drinking more water, reading more books and cutting stupid people out of one's life is the best way to make sure we live beyond fifty. Well, that and science, of course. LOL
And wasn't yesterday World Atheist Day or something like that?
XOXO
Very nice mood postings and thank you very much for the shout-out!
Sixpence, you made me curious and I looked that up. International Atheist Day is April 1st every year. Seems appropriate to choose that day.
Oh, sheesh. I just noticed that World Atheist Day is, indeed, March 23rd. National Atheist Day is April 1.
The "it's ok to do nothing" memes reminded me of an anecdote I read recently about Gandhi: "Gandhi's advisors told him they had a very busy day ahead, with twice as much to do as usual, so could he skip morning meditation and get to work? Gandhi replied that if they had twice as much work to do, they'd better meditate for twice as long."
I very much like the “doing nothing” memes. As I get older I understand the wisdom in embracing the courage to do just that. As long as I have a book nearby.
Mike: If there's one thing we need more of, it's nothing.
Sixpence: On my blog, every day is Atheist Day -- except of course for September 30, which is Blasphemy Day.
Ricko: Thanks for all the images you post -- I've added quite a few to my own collection.
CAS: That sounds like Gandhi. Well, he certainly got a lot done.
Shaw: I agree -- I've already spent more than enough time doing non-nothing things. And the books are essential.
Great memes! So much truth in them. I especially like the one about nature wanting the majority of your kids and wanting you dead by 50. It amazes me how people don't appreciate how much science has done for us.
Martha: That one's literally true, too -- I've seen estimates of child mortality in hunter-gather societies as high as 70%. People don't realize what nature is really like.
well, I fucking love this...
:)
this is a great collection!
Thanks! I've got plenty more.....
