30 September 2021
September 30 is Blasphemy Day International. I have long held that ridicule and mockery, not debate or argument, is the best way to address religion, and the observance of Blasphemy Day affirms that there must be no carve-out for religion protecting it from the broad principle of free expression. The date commemorates the original publication of the immortal Muhammad cartoons in Denmark's Jyllands-Posten newspaper in 2005.

And a happy Blasphemy Day to you! Ridiculous ideas deserve to be ridiculed, especially when they continue to cause so much harm to so many.
Oh, yes.
I never argue with the Religulous. I literally give them a side eye and cackle. It's useless to engage them in any way, shape or form. Also, their fragility is astounding and we all need a restraining order against them. Religious freedom is an excuse to try to replace the duck for the rabbit, really. That cartoon made me chuckle.
XOXO
What a super collection of memes. Let's celebrate Blasphemy Day everyday!
Lots of good memes today. Do you have all the Muhammed cartoons? I saved them all.
Why do you have to go back to medieval Christianity to compare it with (radical) Islam? The actions of nationalist Serbs against Bosniaks and Kosovars during the past three decades will do.
Oh, I was not aware of this special day. I must do something about that.
Those are great meme's.
Jack: Thanks! Of course, for me, every day is blasphemy day.
Sixpence: It's too bad the duck and rabbit nuts can't just destroy each other and leave the rest of us in peace.
Lady M: I do try.....
Mike: I think I have most of them on my other computer. They're widely available, though. Rioting against something tends to make it immortal.
Anon: That was certainly bad enough, too.
Sicko: Glad to help spread the word.
Mary K: I hope I'm helping them get spread around.
The gods need is to continue their pitiful existence more than we need them. In fact, they never do anything for us.
My favorite blasphemy.
Indeed, how could they continue without our delusions -- their creators -- to sustain them?
Prrr mia mcknao pfffft. Meomeow Purrrr.
Translation: "There are no gods" is wrong. Cats exist.
Heh.
Nice collection.
Hey, blasphemy is my thing.....
