Anon: You're confused. As best I can recall I've never expressed an opinion about men using make-up.
It's that "wrong, wrong, wrong, right?" cartoon you linked to. According to it, it's wrong to use makeup. Or am I interpreting it wrong?
It's clearly a reference to imitating or pretending to be a woman, not just using make-up per se. Gender non-conforming behavior doesn't, or shouldn't, mean a person is actually claiming to be the opposite sex, but some men do use it for that purpose, and that's what the cartoon is referring to.
Also, never assume I agree with every detail of everything I link to. The cartoon simply made a valid point about different reactions to what's essentially the same kind of burlesque.
