I clicked on some of them. Chose at random .... by the name.
Why is it that we click on something with "toilet" in the title?
Or is it just me??
Oh my, that penis dog t-shirt, LOL! "Blacks for Trump," LOLOL! Has the whole world gone crazy? (no need to answer -- it's a rhetorical question)
Chickens can cross all the roads they want but those weird looking chicken feet socks have gotta go.
It doesn't surprise me at all that people are ringing up the wrong codes in the self check out. What did they expect though? Really? They had to know this was gonna happen.
They're pretty white for African Anmericans, lol
Hi Infidel!
Just today, I did a Sunday crossword puzzle with the title "Fowl Play," and one of the first theme clue's answers was poultry in motion.
Holy mackerel! I really loved those fish cartoons. The one about seeing the world made me literally laugh out loud. I think I woke up the dog.
Love the exhibit. I've named my place Procrastination Manor. At least, I was going to name it that. Maybe tomorrow.
Never heard of frogfish before, and now I know more about them than I ever wanted to know.
Who among us has never bowed down before the porcelain deities?
Halloween should start right after the 4th of July and end right before Thanksgiving. My son just went to a Halloween wedding, and the pictures are hilarious. Everyone, including the bride and groom, wore costumes.
I don't know who Mr. D is, but his class is hilarious.
Did Twitler's African-American show up for his Blacks for Twitler rally, or was it just Biily Bob and Maybelle Black who are pictured in the tweet?
I always thought Peter Pan had shifty eyes. Now I'm wondering what's in the peanut butter. Better not buy the super-chunky kind.
Look at how many people actually believe in Twitler. If they can talk themselves into that, convincing them astrology is real should be a piece of cake.
It's after 4 in the a.m. here, so more linky goodness will have to wait until tomorrow.
A few comments here (Pt. 1) ....
Ya, I heard old Bloomberg, No More Mr.Nice Guy blog (good Alice Cooper classic song ... "No More Mr.Nice Guy", I seen him do live a couple times {:-), was running for President, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) It seems to be the new trend (billionaries, banker, etc) ... I don't know how many others want to run that are billionaires? ... but if these MSM news hosts, would just stop asking every billionaire they interview on the tele about running for President, maybe we'll see less, I don't know. Yesterday on CBS 60 Minutes, they were asking Jamie Dimon if he'll run? right after they just ponted out all his failures in the banking crisis back in 08, and the SOB admitted that he was a failure ... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) ... that's how insane we have gotten. They were pointing out what Trump thinks about Dimon and being President, and what Dimon thinks about Trump ... "I'm better than he is, blah, blah, blah" ... mindless f'n shit ... and you would probably end up with millions arguing in defense of these 2, if they were running, fighting each other over a couple rich guys, that can barely wipe their own asses ... and Dimon as a "democrat"? I seen them ask Bill Gates the other day ... public pressure tried to get Oprah to run, etc, etc. Bloomberg? ... many New Yorkers, especially folks of colour didn't like his policies as Mayor, and certainly wouldn't for President. The talk is alwayz "they're better than Trump" ... I mean like ... it's not very challenging to be better than Trump ... that don't tell me nothing, my question is "what does the opponent of Trump have to offer to the people of this country?" ... not a f'n bank or corporation, BUT THE MAJORITY OF SOCIETY, instead. I would guess that Trump is going to play the victim card big time in this run too, his following is pissed and fired up, because of what they see as attacks on him, that's all we hear about in the news ... Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump ... the monster, evil, hooror, etc, etc {:-) ... Trump's scary? ... folks should be more concerned with Congress and the Senate, if they think he's scary ... all Trump is, is some rich cheapskate hustler, with a loud mouth. I seen him in an interview about running the streets of Queens as a kid, I laughed ... I ran the streets in Brooklyn, and I know if some kid like him talked all that shit, he would have gotten an asswhipping on the street ... he's a lame joke. Plus he's going to play the card, about all the new women entrepreneurs, booming business, employment, etc. But, I'm no expert on politics, so I'll leave it there.
Progress Pond, post office banking. This is something I have blogged about myself in the past, and talked to several people that didn't even know that a post office could do banking, or did. When I was a kid, they had postal banking. Again, legislation and lobbyists, our worst enemies, that is why we have all these neoliberal monopolies these dayz, in banking and much else.
(PT.2) Daily Irritant of capitalism ... I'm not even anti- capitalism, but can clearly see the massive flaws in the model we currently practice. Free market, freedom, free thought, individualism/ entrepreneurship? ... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) ... it's so unbelievably twisted, what we are told to believe ... just like religion and politics ... same crap, different labels ... mass manufactured stupidity, and now they can do it with algorithms ... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) But there is opportunity out there if you know how to hustle. When I was younger, I had a period where I worked 2 jobs to make some extra money ... my dad told me something like ... "you can work all you want, but I never knew a working man who made any money". Sure, there is alwayz opportunity to scrape together a few bucks here and there, we had key politicians of the left and right not long ago, gave a list of what to do, like babysitting, yard sales, or whatever, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) ... they probably paid some consulting firm millions (of our taxes) to think up that mindless shit {:-) Depends what you're looking for ... I never needed some politician or bank, corporation, bot/ algorithm, and/ or allies to tell me how to make a buck ... I naturally learned it on the street. For all these folks that try to tell me this, I just say "shut the f*ck up, and don't waste my time".
Pocket piece on shoplifting was surprising to me ... yes! I would suspect some goes on as far as self checkout, but not nearly that amount. No, I have used self checkouts, but mainly when I had to, such as late night/ early am ... but NEVER tried to shuffle items without scanning them, switching bar codes, or whatever. I wouldn't waste my time on such petty nickel and diming to scam a few bucks, even for fun. I mean, if I were to boost, it would be much more, like in the thousands, because all I would get from a fence, would be 30 to 50 points on a buck ... and I would use a fence, probably one who distributes online, and to other countries. I could turn it myself, of course, but it's too time consuming, I would use a fence, because I can drop in larger volume, one transaction, walk with cash in hand within minutes, they do their part getting rid of it, and that makes their cut. Sad, because you have people that trying to scam these checkouts, that don't even need to scam, not like they're homeless or whatever. In WalMart you'll see people riding in the elctronic carts for handicap folks, who don't physically appear to have a goddamn thing wrong with them ... that is laziness to the max {:-)
(PT.3) I was in WalMart once, getting some personal items, like shave stuff, mouthwash, type things (I like to buy my food at Trader Joe's), I do get cases of spring water from WalMart, because I go through alot, that's all about that I drink, for several years, is water now (besides an occasional mixed drink or a beer). But a lady floor walker, tells me to use a self check out for my convenience, since the lines were long ... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) ... I told her, and others before ... "I came here to shop, not to work". Bottom line ... tell me you'll give me a reasonable discount for checking out and sacking my own shit, I'll do it then ... but I personally like the service when I'm out shopping and the communications, too ... with humans, not some robo voice. Picked up my granddaughter, Sharmaine, the other day from some school event, she asked me to take her to Taco Bell ... been some time since I been in one (changed my diet alot several years ago). This place was damn near empty, no one in line besides me, I just made my order, etc ... a guy walks in, about 30-ish, clean cut guy ... here's the cashier lady, with no one else, ready to serve. He walks up to a kiosk, 7/ 8'ft from counter, and orders with his card on it, then stands at the counter to wait ... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) they'll try to put as many humans out of work as possible, it's all about profits and shareholders.
Damn man, yesterday was drop dead gorgeous, upper 60's, sunny ... I'm cruising down the freeway with windows done at 85mph, stereo cranked, etc. And up till one hour ago, it was still beautiful. Now, the winds are blowing hard, it became dark, and the temps feel like about a 30 degree drop in the last hour, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) ... weather report just said that we will go down to the 20s.
Adam said "pretty white for African Americans"? ... there's plenty of white people in Africa ... not everyone is black. Rock vocalist legend Freddie Mercury of Queen is from Africa, he's not black.
Er... Freddie Mercury might have been born in Zanzibar but he grew up in England and his parents were Parsi - Indo-Iranian. Just goes to show the British Empire once was the "The Champions of the World!" ;-)
Yes, UK Post Offices often do provide banking and similar services. Which is very important because the banks couldn't give a fuck. My small village had an RBS and a Natwest (both RBS Group). So... Do they close one and consolidate services? Nah, the proj on with both until they have to close both. Both buildings have now been unused for over two years. Madness. They are still trying to sell the RBS and God alone knows what gives with the Natwest. Yup, the banks that sell mortgages can't even manage their own property portfolios!!!
PS I have said this before but... Links opening in new tabs would make hour round-ups easier to plough through.
No Thoughts: I guess the thought of people praying to a toilet is just funny.
Debra: What I like best about that picture is the actual black people in the background laughing at them.
Mary: It's amazing the weird things people put on socks.
Adam: Not to mention totally lacking in a sense of irony.
Nonnie: That fish did get to tour his world -- it's just a very small one. Maybe ours is too, from some viewpoints.
I'd never heard of frogfish either. The entire ocean seems to be full of disgusting-looking things constantly trying to eat each other.
I like your idea for Halloween, but I think it should extend to December 26. We need to push the enemy back and conquer his home territory.
Most fairy-tale stories are pretty creepy if you think about them.
Ranch: I don't know why the super-rich are treated as celebrities just for being super-rich. I've barely heard of Bloomberg. NYC isn't the whole country. They're all better than Trump, but as you say, that's not hard. We don't need Bloomberg -- we've already got an old centrist white guy, and he's at least been vice president.
The biggest problem in getting postal banking would be all the private banks lobbying against it. It's the same problem as with a public option for health insurance.
I think shoplifting is kind of a thrill or challenge for some people. To me it's not worth it. I've gotten free stuff by accident a couple of times when the cashier (human, not automated) missed ringing something up, but I didn't notice until looking at the receipt at home later.
The T-shirts did say "Blacks for Trump", not "African-Americans", so they definitely don't qualify.
Nick: Yes, and Richard Dawkins was born in Kenya (nobody tell Trump). For that matter, most of Africa's population north of the Sahara is white (Arab/Berber), and Charlize Theron definitely qualifies as African -- there have been white people in South Africa almost as long as in North America. People need to stop using euphemisms and just say what they mean. At least those T-shirts said "black" when they meant "black" -- making the lack of actual black people all the more obvious.
There doesn't seem to be an obvious setting in Blogger to make links default to opening in a new tab. Maybe I'll post about this later and see if a lot of readers would prefer it. For me it's a habit to right-click and choose "open in new tab".
Hey Infidel, just wanted to say something about the opening in a new tab, because I don't quite understand how it's an issue. I actually open your links in a new tab, without any "effort" (besides moving my finger or hand? ... I don't find that an issue, though) ... I simply click on my mouse to open in new tab, been doing that on alot of websites for years at that. Maybe it's a problem for some, I don't know or see it ... to me it's so simple to just click the mouse to say "open in new tab" ... but to each their own.
As far as black Africans ... true story. I had dated a lady from Kenya once years ago, she was very dark skinned (like really black), not like African Americans though, looked a bit like Grace Jones. But this girl was tall! ... I sware, she had to be at least 6'3" or so, when in public I looked so short with her, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh {:-) ... but she looked great to me! {:-)
