Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.
God doesn't exist

Global warming is real
Homosexuality is normal
Aging is a curable disease
The election was not stolen
Everything "spiritual" is a lie
Free speech is for everybody
Humans do not have "souls"
Men can't become women

Hey ... I think I heard of these guy's (just kiddin) :) (duuuhhh, it sez that in the post) But yeah ... I love the Butthole's of course, not because their from Texas though, but just because of their enormous talent's and contribution's, seen them several time's "live" in local Dallas venue's, I forgot how many .. and had the opportunity to meet and talk with Gibby.

Naturally I was attracted to the Butthole Surfers just BECAUSE of their name! Liked them since the 80's.

It's impressive music. I'm still baffled as to how, exactly, one goes about the act of surfing a butthole. Actually, I'd probably rather not know.
From what I gather (from Gibby) was that at first they didnt even have a band name, they used different name's depending on what venue they played, they had a song called this (BS) and after so long just deceided to use the song title for a group name, but the name was suppose to mean "irritating" kind of ike having a case of hemmoroid's and making you uncomfortable and squirm, etc, because the song was that. They have another song for instance called "annoying" or similar, their earliest music was so strange and experimental, done under the influence of mind altering drug's (kind of like what the Beatles experimented with in their latter year's). Gibby's dad was a popular kiddie show personality too, you may recall (nationally) Mr.Peppermint.
