Improving words (26)

Some more revised word definitions -- what the words visibly should mean, based on spelling.....

Allowed:  You were in debt for everything you had

Artillery:  A gallery of art that makes you sick

Archive:  A curved dwelling for bees

Combatant:  The hair-straightening tool is with the small insect

Concession:  The opposite of a procession

Curmudgeonly:  The nasty dog's wet dirt uses nothing but General Electric products

Devastated:  To reduce the immense size of a teddy bear

Expiration:  Your former allocation of the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter

Hexagon:  The curse has been lifted

Industrious:  The American side of the river separating Mexico and Texas has been reduced to dust

Interchange:  To bury coins

Looming:  The merciless master of a British toilet

Manhattan:  Skin damage caused by a male head covering

Perpetuate:  In accordance with the number of companion animals you've eaten

Process:  In favor of the contents of a cesspit

Reminiscent:  To add a mild smell to something, again

Spatula:  Dracula's cousin who spits out blood instead of swallowing

Student:  A hot young male tree-like creature from Lord of the Rings

Subjugate:  The lower sturdy liquid container consumed it

Tenacity:  Almost a dozen for each large town

Translate:  A person who is actually on time, but identifies as being late

Western:  Us be harsh and severe people

I may Interchange if things go much worse in the economy. Na, I'd never remember where I intered it.

Sixpence: I suppose that one is a bit of a stretch.....

Anon: The "in" part must be accounted for. "Internship" would mean the ship was swallowed by the bird.
