When Xtianist apologists discuss this their worldview is utterly closed, of course. It's all 'it is because it is' and 'it's god's will'. Nonsense.
I was once talking with someone about the pearly gates and when I mentioned xtian mythology they took offense. I cackled.

Stephen Fry doesn't take any bullshit from anybody, even from God.
And mythology is exactly what most of the Bible is.
I like how in Arabic, "inshallah" (if God wills it) is used as a way to say never.
