Blogiversary XIX
Also, this is my 4,994th post, although that number is greatly inflated by the fact that in the first few years I did a lot of posts which were just one-liners linking to something I thought was interesting. I started doing the link round-ups in order to consolidate such links into one post per week rather than an absurd number of mini-posts.
For those who are newcomers here and are interested, check out last year's blogiversary post, which has links to some of the best posts from earlier years.

Congratulations, Infidel! You have a keen eye and good sense about your posts, and that you have maintained this consistency for nineteen years is incredible. All the best and keep up the great work!

Congratulations Infidel. Over the years I have enjoyed your Image and Link roundups. Really. When I see them posted I know my day just got better.
Congrats!
Congrats. My first year was the opposite. After it, I actually pruned the blogs that I liked least. I’ve never done that since then. What I have written, I have written. 😀
I've learned a lot here. I'm glad you have kept blogging. Did you have any idea you'd still be writing here 19 years later?
In nineteen days ... 😎
I didn't start it for money. I started it to speak my piece. These days I see it as contributing to humanities' legacy: soon enough all we'll be are signals drifting through space
So who's gonna ride that chrome 3-wheeler ... ?
Happy Blogaversary! That's a long time. I don't know many bloggers who have been around as long as I have.
Congratulations! May you have many more blogiversaries in your future.
I can't believe your blog is almost old enough to legally buy alcohol!🤣
Kidding, kidding...congrats on reaching 19 years. Not an easy achievement, but others, like Driftglass, have done it.
Rade: Thanks! I hope to maintain that consistency of good sense, even though I'm sure my views on things will continue to evolve as I learn more.
Leanna: Thank you. Those types of posts will always continue here -- every Saturday and alternating Tuesdays.
John: Thanks.
Anvil: I've only ever deleted a very few posts -- haven't done that in years. If there's an error it's best to leave the post up with a correction.
Ami: Thank you, that means a lot. When I started this blog I never thought about how long it might last, but nineteen years would have surprised me. I've never stuck with any one thing that long.
Ten: Oh, I've thought about joining those signals drifting through space.
Mary: Thanks. I know you're a long-timer as well!
Ricko: Thanks -- I believe there will be a few still to come.
Marc: I think this blog has been under the influence for quite a while. Maybe it has a fake ID.
I agree about the digital soul tribe. I have a bunch of blog mates I get on with well. I just wish they were a bit nearer than the USA!
I have the same problem even though most of my blog acquaintances are in the same country. Even most of the USA isn't near the USA. It's just too big.
Well, if alcohol didn't give me migraines, I'd drink to that milestone, Infidel! I learn something(s) every time I visit here. Best wishes to you for many more blogiversaries--in good health. Cheers!
Happy Blogaversary! I began mine in 2009 and feel as you do about Blogging. May you have many more Blogaversaries, I enjoy your Posts.
Annie: Thanks: There's no higher compliment I can get than that people learn something here.
Bohemian: Thanks! If you've been going since 2009 your blog is also one of the longer-lasting ones. I intend to keep going.
Congratulations as you approach the 5,000 milestone.
You remain a blessing to the rest of us.
Thank you!
I am at 23
I'll catch up eventually.....
