About Me
- Name: Infidel753
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

These are good!
Some of the things that people believe and will pass along on social media astounds me at times.
Infidel, you are a treasure trove of excellent memes! I alternate between laughing aloud and lamenting as I scroll through. I'll be forwarding many. I especially like the ones that challenge the notion that workers benefit from the generosity of their employers. Those short and sweet messages might have a chance at actually influencing working-class people that have somehow fallen under the spell of right-wing propaganda.
Wow, these are all really profound! That last one is bang on. And I agree with not stopping the things we enjoyed when we were kids! Keeps us young and content.
Wow - the people with the Trump money. I have no words.
Ricko: Thanks!
Mary K: There are always new depths of gullibility to plumb.
CAS: Glad if you can use some -- the more the better. Sometimes a short message that gives just the basics can really get the point across. That's why I choose ones that emphasize the most important points.
Martha: I've tried to recover that spirit of childhood. It's not always easy.
I found that last image on a far-right blog. Some feelings are universal.
Lady M: I guess that's the kind of people who keep buying rubbish from Trump and keeping him afloat, even after everything that's known about him.
can't pick a favorite..kinda like the zeus one..haha
