So much good stuff! Very nice mixture.
Capybaras and small frogs - great way to start the day.
Another fine collection - my favorites are the kangaroo orgy and the sign asking passerby not to fuck here.
Ricko: Thanks!
Pliny: I'm impressed how many people recognize capybaras nowadays. They used to be kind of exotic.
Lady M: I guess the kangaroos didn't read the sign.....
You got me looking into Spock. That's his 1963 Buick Riviera. https://www.metv.com/stories/behind-the-scenes-photos-of-leonard-nimoy-at-work-and-home-in-the-1960s
And Wikipedia tells a story about his life before and after Star Trek which turns out was just a minor part of his acting career.

Yes, I think that is a sauna. But likely not in Sweden or Finland given that the lady is clothed. Swedes and Fins can be fairly demanding that the sauna is always taken in the nude. I had a neighbor and ... It's not chiselled in stone for me but I tend to agree. Perhaps she is a tourist.
There are so many interesting photos and clips here. The Please Close Gate sign was hilarious and those teeny frogs are amazing. And tattoo removal? Ouch!
Mike: before and after Star Trek which turns out was just a minor part of his acting career
And yet you -- like most people, I suspect -- refer to him as "Spock" rather than "Leonard Nimoy".
Anon: Interesting. Perhaps someone in a remote part of the US built it. Some descendants of Scandinavian immigrants keep up some of the culture.
Kay: I bet everybody does, in fact, obey the sign and close the gate.
I don't think there are any painless methods of tattoo removal, but anything's better than keeping them.
We are all ignoring Nimoy's "Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" and the fact that post Trek he became a very fine photographer. Both matters can easily be found online and anyway I wouldn't link to the former for fear of causing a spacetime fracture.
Fun way to trigger manbabies: Tell them what "Amok Time" was really about, as described by its writer.
You can find other examples throughout classic nerd fandoms.
It's your fault for posting that image. You'll know what I mean ;)
Tiny frogs are really tiny.
I love Capybara's. They just seem so laid back and seem to get along with other animals.
Gotta love Spock.
NickM: Nimoy does Tolkien? That I've got to check out.
Anon: I've seen a rumor that it was meant as some sort of gay reference, but it didn't seem credible.
Pliny: Heh.
Mary K: Everybody loves Spock. He's not tiny, but he does usually seem laid back and gets along with most people.
Spock is the ultimate wingman*. He also has a rather dry sense of humour (at times).
*I wrote that and then I thought of Sam Gamgee. Oh, I dunno!!!
love allll of these...needed it..
Captivating mix! I would love to visit Belgium one day. And I really appreciated all the humour. We need plenty of that these days!
NickM: I'd say it's a tie. Spock's sense of humor is evidence of his intelligence.
Granny: Glad to provide some relief.
Martha: Thanks! I think pretty much every European city is full of beautiful architecture.
who knew cheese graters have so many uses?
At least that one's healthier than eating the cheese.....
