On slut-shaming. Long ago (50 years, or so) the girlfriend was taking a semester at Cambridge in the U.K. She needed a haircut and walked in to a local salon and asked for a shag. You can imagine the looks a comments she got.

Jono: I heard of a British innkeeper, years ago, who asked an American woman guest if she wanted him to knock her up in the morning (in Britain, "knocking somebody up" means knocking on their door to wake them so they won't be late for something). Nowadays I think people in both countries are a little more aware of each others' slang.

Just going to mention one that I felt was particularly good - the Politico one about the young Democratic voters.
This particular link round-up is actually one of the longest ever, so you're not imagining things.
They do need to be concerned about losing young voters, but despite a couple of recent exceptions, that group usually doesn't have a very high turnout. I wish they'd focus more on the loss of support among Hispanics and women. That's really alarming.
