Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I am not Jewish, nor gay, nor (obviously) a woman -- you don't need to be a member of a group to object to them being mistreated. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Btw, I was having a discussion with a friend of mine and his girlfriend the other day about our relationship (and history) with the modern state of Israel. I wrote a 3-part blog-series about the history of Zionism, to WW1 then WW2, and then 1947-48 and the U.N.
