Video of the day -- highways in the sky
There is a great beauty in visions like this. Think of the skill and precision it takes to keep all this air traffic flowing safely and in proper order, day after day, year after year. Sometimes human intelligence seems to create art without even intending to.

Looks like a neural network.
Beautiful.
Reminds me of a bunch of ants going in all directions.
Sorry. Didn't mean to take away from the beauty of your image. It really is quite awesome, but ...
Super cool.
I was wondering, with the storm how air travel was going to be messed up. Everything seems to be so carefully calculated that a minor glitch could mess up hours of flight.
XoXo
Wow, that's cool. It's crazy to think about just how many planes are in the sky at any given minute.
It makes you wonder how we make it all work
We must all thank the big man in the sky

This is pretty amazing, and you're right, making it all work and make sense is something to appreciate for sure. The colors are so vibrant! Hugs, RO
KanaW: That's appropriate, I guess. It is intricate thought in action.
Nan: Whatevs.....
Sixpence: At least nowadays they have plenty of advance warning of hurricanes. It probably helps.
Mary: And yet when you're in a plane in flight, you seldom see another one.
Adam: I hope we're not counting on a dude with one eye to manage all that.....
RO: It takes a lot of brains and organization. With all that traffic, mid-air collisions practically never happen.
This is so very interesting. It is mind-boggling (to me) how they keep all the air traffic flowing safely and in proper order. I'm thankful THEY are doing it and not ME. Love the video!
Wishing you a wonderful Saturday Night!
It's a demanding job, all right. Thanks!
