America's houses of horror
If there is any justice in the universe, the people who have committed these ghastly atrocities against fellow self-aware beings -- and the people who knew about it and said nothing -- and the people who "didn't know" because they suspected and didn't want to know -- will someday be held accountable.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't heard about this yet. Go Rolling Stone!
According to the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act of 2006, the people doing this expose are terrorists.
Terrorists.
I'm just a carnivore. Sort of like that cute polar bear you have pictured on another post.
Excruciating to watch.
Sending it around to my family.
Lady F: It's good that it appeared there -- it should at least get a wide audience.
Uzza: It tells you something that they want to go to such lengths to hide what they're doing.
Philo: Polar bears don't keep their prey in torture camps for their entire lives. Also, most ape species (the group to which humans belong) are primarily or entirely vegetarian.
Shaw: I'd be interested to hear how they react.
Several of my family members are vegans. The ones who are not were stunned by what they read. I haven't heard back from them about what they'll do. Like me, they're quasi-vegetarians, but, I'm guessing will think a lot harder about ever buying meat from big agri again. Here in New England, we do have the option of buying from more sustainable farms that do not torture their food animals. I think that may be the solution for those of us not ready to completely give up meat.
