About Me
- Name: Infidel753
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

The very first image is jarring but accurate. I wonder how many Christians and Jews realize that their relationship with the Biblical God resembles that of a domestic abuser and his victim?
All good images and cartoons. Nice!
That first one. Yes.
It's definitely a very insightful comparison -- religion is an abusive relationship.
Love them all.
The first one reminded me of this.
Agreeing with everyone, the first is great. Also Tyson quotes are always good.
There they go again!
Trying to pass laws for state-enforced recitation of Christian prayers.
Isn't it rich to hear the whiners in the GOP talk about how they've lost their "freedoms" under Pres. Obama, while at the same time their representatives are doing everything they can to destroy them?
Idiots!
SK: Great video. What a load of crap religion is. I saw that Indiana link on Republic of Gilead -- these guys really use the Constitution as toilet paper, don't they?
Grundy: We're lucky to have Tyson.
Excellent selection! Thanks for posting.
