And what can I say being a Texan ... Heh? :) But I would like to borrow this video and posting from you and thank you for bringing this to my atencion, and instead of commenting here on this ... I will certainly comment thoroughly my opinion in my posting to these folk's.
I just read somewhere on the "intertubes" that Christianists can't have it both ways on their "keeping Christmas for Christ" crusade.
If they want to take the commercial aspect out of the holiday and keep it a strictly religious one only, how can they, at the same time, want it to be a national holiday?
RC: No one should hold all Texans responsible for the behavior of these ding-dongs. I certainly wouldn't want to be held responsible for all those white-supremacist compounds in Idaho. I'll be interested to see what you have to say.
SK: If they want to take the commercial aspect out of the holiday and keep it a strictly religious one only, how can they, at the same time, want it to be a national holiday?
By shooting anyone who points out the contradiction, apparently:-)
How is shooting Santa dolls Christ-like? Instead of spending money on ammunition, they could have spent it on canned goods for a food bank, or gifts for Toys for Tots. I thought Christ taught that we should help our neighbor, not waste time shooting inanimate objects.
I am continually amazed by the number of people who willingly, and with no reservations whatsoever, love to advertise their stupidity for the whole world to see!
He couldn't have done worse were he wearing an "I'm a Moron" T-shirt!
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

I like the giant crayons holding the scroll. Just seems like the perfect prop to accessorize their particular brand of crazy.

They shoot about like Sarah Palin. Damn, these folks really are dingy.
i think i saw this on an episode of king of the hill, but it was halloween, not xmas.
Ahab: I think Jesus to them is just an icon, a symbol for their own cultural supremacy over unbelievers.
GL: I can't shake the feeling that the scroll was written in crayon. With lots of spelling mistakes.
RtS: Well, at least everyone can see what they're about!
TNLib: So much for "Second Amendment solutions". They wouldn't have much luck with anything that could move (or shoot back).
Nonnie: The only place I'd expect to see something like this would be Monty Python.
