Reminder: If you can publicly call the government of the country you are in "fascist" and not get arrested, it probably isn't fascist.
Obviously the arrest of senator Padilla must be condemned, but I don't understand why roughing up a senator is considered more shocking than roughing up a plumber or a bus driver. "No kings", remember? Congresscritters (and presidents) are bureaucratic functionaries, not exalted personages more sacrosanct than the rest of us.

It is... a shame... that we are here, but the link about taking precautions for protesting was SUPERB!!! Gone are the days of "Carry a sign and making some noise!"; it's turned into all-out war against Trump and his thugs, and making sure you don't get destroyed in the process.
My brother was just diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's, he's only 53. My dad has dementia but he's 92.
I drink tea all day long.

Rade: Doing all that stuff would be more effort than most people will make, but I hope it's still of some use to people. Every little bit helps keep them safer.
Mary: Wow, 53 is really early to get Alzheimers. Of course, I got severe arthritis starting in my 40s. Some people are just unlucky.
