I've changed the comment form to "embedded". The reason is that this allows the form message ("Please be on-topic" etc) to appear above the entry line. This is preferable since it lets new commenters know what types of comments I don't allow here, rather than being mystified if a comment gets deleted -- not everyone reads the policy, unfortunately. I don't think it's possible to reply to individual comments any more, but that nested structure always seemed rather confusing to me anyway. Hope everyone is OK with the change.

Nothing wrong with the change you made.
It's just fine with me.
Glad to hear it! I'd have done this earlier if I'd realized the option existed.
No issues here!
Just makes me agree to cookies to be allowed to use my account.
Rade: Good!
Ami: I sometimes get that too. I don't think there's any harm in it; if it concerns you, you can periodically clear cookies.

Please be on-topic and read the comments policy. Spam, trolls, and fight-pickers will be deleted. If you don't have a Blogspot account and aren't sure how to comment, please see here. Fair warning: anything supporting transgender ideology, or negative toward Brexit, or in favor of a military draft or compulsory national service, will be deleted. I am not obligated to provide a platform for views I find morally abhorrent.
On work days there is likely to be a substantial delay in approving comments, since I can't do blog stuff in an office. For this I apologize.
