Video of the day -- a song for the times
Most of us are familiar with the melody of France's magnificent national anthem, La Marseillaise, but how many know what it actually means? This is an anthem that doesn't pull any punches. It embodies the spirit the democratic world needs for confronting Putin, Xi, and the jihadists.

ReplyDeleteYes, I knew those words, since I am very close with a French family who visits me every year, and I had visited them for years as well. Their children told me the words' meaning.
