Videos of the day -- the Jersey Devil, abandoned places, dried oceans

Back to that old favorite, The Lone Animator.  This one is based on a critter from actual American folklore.  The Lone Animator himself is Swedish, but he's given this video a real American ambience quite different from the feel of his other works.

His most recent work, this one is especially creepy.  These places are abandoned all right, but far from uninhabited.

An evocation of a strange dream, exposing abominations normally mercifully hidden in the depths.  Very mildly NSFW at the beginning.

Ohhh the abandoned places one!
For a hot minute I got into urban spelunking before the pandemic. I quickly grew out of it because going to abandoned places has a special kind of haunted quality that I could not shake. The Lone Animator literally transcribed that in the video!

XOXO

The Lone Animator is always entertaining. The "abandoned places" video is probably the creepiest thing he's done. The giant slugs and those weird gloppy things on top of the houses were particularly disquieting.
