Video of the day -- perfect gifts
From Christmas season 2019, but I doubt Amazon's filters have improved. Definitely NSFW. You can stop at 8:45 since the video switches to a completely different topic.

On work days there is likely to be a substantial delay in approving comments, since I can't do blog stuff in an office. For this I apologize.
Haha oh the picture of the kid next to the 'toy'? Priceless.
ReplyDeleteThere's a reason why there's a meme going around putting side by side the 'on the website' vs. 'when it arrives' pictures. It's very, very seldom the same thing. And as for descriptions, somebody should write a post just with those.
Too funny though.
XOXO
I avoid third-party sellers on Amazon. I've been burned a couple of times ordering from the internet. I can't remember if Amazon third party was one of them but just the same, they're not worth the risk.
ReplyDeleteYet another reason for avoiding Amazon, I suppose.....
ReplyDeleteWell, to me, it's all art ... like different strokes for different folks kind of thing. But of course, schools are not going to allow some things, Hell, schools, at least my grandkids schools, have all kinds of restrictions as far as what you can have a shirt saying, for example. Much started in schools years ago, because gang violence, LA was so strict on coloured bandanas, as a simple example ... Dallas started implementing it a couple years after LA (for same reason, shirts and stuff said things about rival groups/ gangs, but it used coded messages/ symbols). No, I wouldn't buy my daughters t shirts that say "Daddy's Little Slut" or anything like such ... if they chose to wear something like that, it would be "their" choice, with no influence or interference from me ... but my daughters are way different than daddy, lived a different lifestyle and have their own styles, a bit yuppyish too, and much more educated than me, not much like their dad {:-) This afternoon I was in a indie boutique and gift shop, just browsing, after seeing some cool small statues in their display window ... I bought my wife a Halloween Teddy Bear, maybe a tad demonic, but very cute. Brought it home, and she said, "it's not Halloween yet, Hun" ... I just told her it will be next month {:-) BTW, I don't even buy anything from Amazon ... not because I dislike them, or anything ... just because I actually enjoy going into a store and picking stuff out. I know so many people that buy so much from Amazon.
ReplyDeleteI'm as curious about the people who buy
ReplyDeleteSome are, presumably, "nonces". As for the people who buy Auschwitz Christmas ornaments, I don't think I even want to know.
