Video of the day -- revenge!

(Jordanian armed forces video showing attacks against ISIS targets following the murder of pilot Mu'âdh al-Kassâsbah.)  With all the hand-wringing and cheek-turning and "why do they hate us" that infest the mentality of the West, it's frankly refreshing to see another culture unapologetically embrace a natural and human response to utter barbarity.

  1. Well that was rousing stuff. Where'd you find it?

  2. Same way I find pretty much everything -- I followed a link that led to something else that led to something else that led to something else, etc. etc. etc. I don't remember the whole chain. But there will be more videos like this. The Jordanian people want to see something serious being done about ISIS.

  3. The "hand wringing and cheek turning" drives me crazy. It's one of the reasons we haven't smashed the right wing. It's been very effective in keeping people at the bottom. You know "God'll take care of it." I'm glad the people of Jordan have the right idea.

  4. I think that's part of why it was originally adopted. If you were a brutal medieval king or a corrupt late-Roman emperor, wouldn't you love to have your subjects follow a religion that taught "turn the other cheek" and "resist not evil"?
