About Me
- Name: Infidel753
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

All excellent…I saved a few.
Yes, many good ones. I saved a few as well.
Schopenhauer was an asshole though he pushed an old lady down the stairs and his philosophy was shit a rich guy who doesn't have to labor in an Industrial Era of the 19th century had to deal with so fvck him.
I admit that I am conflicted. Many were excellent, especially the more libertarian ones.
As for some of the anti-religious ones, I must say that sadly some of them are indeed warranted, as some proponents of various faiths often miss the core tenets of the very faith they claim to be adherents thereof.
As for the existence of God, I am afraid we will simply have to agree to disagree, my friend. (And this comes from a person who was once a staunch atheist.)
Cheers to you, Infidel and thanks for some thought-provoking memes.
Mary, Ricko: Thanks -- please save whenever you wish.
Grung: Whatever.
Darrell: Thanks -- I think every reader will like some, dislike others (not the same ones, depending on the person). I call 'em like I see 'em, and I doubt I'll ever meet anybody who agrees with me on everything. But thanks for continuing to read despite disagreements. All too many people are too closed-minded to do that.
Most excellent. I stole a few of the atheist memes.
Please steal freely!
