'Tis the season
.....Halloween is coming!
For those of us who welcome the season.....
.....it's like a homecoming.....
.....time to be your true self.
Some may already be shopping for decorations.....
.....or making their own.
If you don't have a pumpkin, use whatever is available.....
.....and always remember that squash and pumpkins go together well.
Whether you participate in the holiday with gusto.....
.....or prefer to just relax and watch.....
.....your time is coming.

I actually find it a bit annoying... Now, don't get me wrong... I like Halloween but I don't like commercial creep. They've started flogging Halloween stuff in September here... Infidel, you still got the Trumpkin pic I sent you? Feel free to use it! But only in the week before the 31st otherwise Very Bad Things!!!
Terrific collection! I like Halloween the best even though I don't "do it up" like I used to. AND, now you can get your xmas crap in the same shopping trip!
NickM: Thanks, but I want to keep politics out of the Halloween posts.
Ricko: Thanks! We need to give Halloween all the ammunition we can, to push back the illegitimate Christmas invasion and occupation of October.
Ha - thanks for giving ballsy a new lease on life. Love that cat in the pumpkin picture. Shops are all but sold out of Halloween and Christmas has invaded. I enjoyed your homage to the best season of the year.
I love this time of year. My daughter has already stared decorating.
Lady M: I couldn't resist using Ballsy for this. Halloween sold out already? They'd better get more stuff in -- it's still almost a month to go. Halloween needs reinforcements to drive out the Christmas invasion.
Mary K: Cool! Maybe you'll post a few pictures?
Thank you for sharing this nice Halloween photo round-up with us. It was fun. No favorite, as usual. Wishing you a wonderful week, my friend!
PS: I commented on Sep-25th link round-up, thanking you for the “Honorable Mention”. I really appreciate being included.
More to come! And I saw your comment, thanks. The system e-mails me whenever someone leaves a comment, so I don't miss any.
Yes! I've been waiting for it all year, and I am thrilled that it is finally here. Happy JesusWeen!
JesusWeen? I'll stick with Ballsy the squash, thanks. :-)
I LOVE this time of year. Halloween is great. But I was disappointed to see Christmas decorations in shops that I visited yesterday.
Christmas's illicit annexation of historically Halloweenish territories within October will never be allowed to stand!
