About Me
- Name: Infidel753
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Excellent…so many good ones. I collect really good memes..
You hit so many nails right on the head!
Ha!
The one about talking to Xtianists the same way they talk to LGBTQ people is very good. May try it.
Is Rowling still running her mouth from her mansion? Tired.
I wish I knew more Muslims, really. But you know, I'm not precisely Halal...
XOXO
Mary: Glad you like them -- I've got plenty more.
Ricko: Well, I have a lot of hammers.....
Sixpence: I wish more people would do that -- give the pushy religionists something to think about.
Rowling is still courageously speaking out, supporting the harassed and persecuted women who don't have the kind of money or cultural power she does, despite all the threats she gets from the human garbage.
You might want to avoid the countries the hard-core Muslims actually control, like Iran and Saudi Arabia. They make Fred Phelps look like a flaming liberal.
yes
I think I've only seen a couple of these. Very nice collection. Like the one about religion being based on fear.
The baby formula shortage is actually caused by government regulations that impose costly tariffs on imported baby formula. Furthermore, formula manufactured in European countries is perfectly safe, but can't be imported because of FDA labeling regulations. The barriers to entry for new companies in the United States is also costly and difficult. A new formula manufacturer, ByHeart, just started production as the formula shortage became acute.
The administration should have relaxed the tariffs and regulatory requirements on European and Canadian baby formula imports when they got Abbott Labs to shut down its Sturgis plant for bacterial contamination rather than doing it after store shelves were empty of formula.
Granny: Yes.....
Mike: There's no doubt that religion is largely based on fear. That's part of why people tend to react so violently and irrationally when it's challenged or mocked.
Tommykey: Actually, it's this. Baby formula is heavy and expensive to transport, and has a low retail price, making it relatively un-economical to import anyway. I don't think the US ever imported much of it.
It's not economical to import formula because of the 17.5% tariffs that make it prohibitively expensive for US consumers.
No, it would be uneconomical regardless of tariffs because it's heavy and expensive to transport and has a low retail price. Anyway, tariffs have been in place for years, while the sudden shortage we're seeing now is a recent thing, caused by corporate malfeasance as explained in the link I posted -- which is the point of what it says in the image in this post.
I agree with so many of these.
There are a lot of smart people out there making these.
