Video of the day -- Krampus
Like Santa, but for the really bad kids. Another little epic from The Lone Animator. Be aware, this one is a bit nastier and more intense than the videos of his that I've posted before. Think of it as an early entry for Creepmas.

Much like the Santa mythos, the point largely seems to be about promoting conformity to parental values. This is the first time I'm hearing of Creepmas, and I think I may have just found my second-favorite holiday after Jesusween!
Ha!
I've always found Krampus much more intriguing than Kris. And Creepmas? Oh, myyy...
XOXO
Oh, if only.
Thank you for the video. It just wasn't to my taste.
Can I share one that I like?
Noted mathematician Nikolai Ivanovich Lobachevsky, famous for his work on non-Euclidean geometry, was born on this date, December 1, 1792.
Which makes this day perfect for Tom Lehrer's Lobachevsky .
Are ground-up kids USDA inspected and approved?
Jack: Probably true, although these days there's also an obvious need to promote conformity to being not a complete asshole.
Sixpence: The villain is very often the most interesting character in a story.
Ricko: Krampus isn't an easy sell in these politically-correct days, unfortunately.
Leonard: That's cool -- I know not everything I post will appeal to everyone.
Mike: According to the folklore of the Alpine region where the character originated, Krampus works closely with Santa, so presumably he also lives at the North Pole. I'm not sure whose jurisdiction that falls under.
Love the video. As a kid, the lyrics "he's making a list and checking it twice" caused a good deal of concern. This video takes it up a notch or two.
I'd hate to be on Krampus's list.....
Krampus is intriguing especially with that 6 inch tongue. He is often pictured as a horny goat too.
By the way, tonight is Krampusnacht so if you are on his list, he will be paying you a visit.
Dude didn't show..... I guess I scared him off.
