An assessment of the most successful scam currently going. The last two minutes of this are particularly telling -- and yes, people who spread dangerous misinformation for money are fair game.

Liars will tell any lie if there's money to be made, or power to be gained.
Damn!
And here I am getting ready to go out to a nearby restaurant and order a beautiful steak!
After not eating anything but the meals cooked for us at this assisted living facility since February of last year, this is my first time out.
I've been dreaming of steak for ages!!!!
But it's not good for my already not so great health...
Hmm...
Oh, the hell with it!
"Make that ribeye medium-rare, waiter! Thanks."
Joel Furhman has some great recipes. I have read 3 of his books. I need to read some of these other authors. My sister raves about Dr. Gregor.
Debra: And there's always a lot of money to be made from telling people what they want to hear, including about food.
Victor: You might want to look into where steak actually comes from and how it's produced -- and what's in it as a result of the need to keep animals alive under the hideous conditions they endure.
Lady M: There's a lot of good information out there. Dr Greger is a great resource -- I've watched a lot of his own videos.
I am a diabetic and am allowed 45 carbs a meal...it's all about portions. The size. I can eat potatoes just not a plate full. I have found over the past month or so that meat is not appealing to me that much. I'd rather have a bigass salad than a hamburger. But get between me and my bacon and I'll cut you..
