Hey thanks for that. I've never read or heard that quote. Still seems pertinent in today's world, and maybe more so than then. The main takeaway for me is that it's better to try and possibly fail at something than to fear failure itself. We all fail at something, and success is never a given, but success sometimes doesn't manifest itself in the expected timeline. Sometimes it takes a while...
That's excellent. I don't recall ever hearing it before. One of my favorite books is about Teddy Roosevelt's trip down the Amazon after he was president, River of Doubt.
I've occasionally seen this quote on the internet, but with the first part missing. It sums up so much, and is just as applicable today.
