It is good to sometimes be reminded of the good news: We too will pass into time and ill remembered memory. One day, sooner that most imagine, all of this, the chaos, the concerns that fill our days will fade and grow so distant that none of this will even be important enough for a footnote.
I take great comfort in this fact.
Hadn't heard of Lovecraft before. He died young, 47. Well, young for today.

Lovecraft always kind of freaks me out.

A great distillation of pure Lovecraft mumbo-jumbo, stripped of virtually any story or anything else that could interfere with his sheer love of arcane, ominous phrases.
Anon: Well, that's one way to look at it. I want to still be around to see everything.
Mike: Yes, he wasn't successful in his own lifetime. I wish he could see the renown his works have gained since then, and how ubiquitous his concepts have become.
Sixpence: I think he's supposed to freak people out.
Green: Well, the arcane and ominous phrases are usually the best part.....
