"She worked to keep others alive, and now insurance is letting her down" - why am I not surprised about that? Unfortunately, that's exactly in what kinda world we live in. Sad! 🤷♂️😏
And when it comes to eating, I would eat literally almost any kind of food, but... not octopus. 😃💚🤎
A lot of people have been caught wearing weird masks outside. Why though?
"Every death impoverishes the future" -- the passage from Ray Bradbury is exactly right.
It's hard not to use Amazon. They have almost everything at a decent price. But I hate giving Bezos money. And I've been scammed a time or two by not using them.
Hi Infidel,
I hope you and all your readers are safe and well.
Thanks for the link to the cartoons. I love Bill Abbott's characters. Not the funniest cartoons on the planet, but I love his characters with the white glasses in different shapes and no eyes. I don't know why they appeal to me, but they do. Of course, I always appreciate the puns. I am all in for imbleachment.

Ha!
That first image is soooo telling!
And so many stories.... really. This pandemic is bringing out the best and worst in people...
XOXO
Hot: There's an inherent conflict between running a for-profit business and doing what medical coverage is supposed to do. They have an incentive to deny coverage as much as possible.
Mary K: A lot of people don't seem to understand the purpose of the masks. It's not about covering your face, it's about making your breath pass through fabric to trap the droplets than might contain viruses. A lot of these improvised masks don't do that at all.
Debra: I'm already thinking about a post based on it.
Mike: I've avoided using them for a long time now. There are almost always other options. It's not so much Bezos's money I mind, it's how they treat their employees.
Nonnie: Cartoons can be very expressive. We've had some great ones lately.
I'm starting to worry about the cats. They're up to something.
I think Namibia's odd shape resulted from some sort of scam during the time of German colonial domination (Namibia was one of the few African countries to be colonized by Germany instead of Britain or France), but I forget the details.

HAHAHAHAHA! That photoshop fix on the second link! That is hilarious.
