About Me
- Name: Infidel753
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Some of the things that people think up are amazing. The stick figure people always crack me up with what people come up with them to do. I've seen some really funny ones.
VERY cool – thanks!
Could a tie fighter win WWII all by itself?
Mary: I'd be that guy sitting at the lower right, just watching everybody else carry on.
Donna: Thanks!
Adam: Well, they didn't seem very effective in the movies.....
These are incredible (and some are pretty funny!). In regards to the crashed TIE fighter in front of the WW II soldiers...I believe I met the person who did that at a convention in Atlanta a couple years ago. They had more images and I loved the concept--mashing together STAR WARS ships and other hardware with WW II images. I've forgotten the artist's name, but considering the fact that SW was influenced by WW II, it makes sense.
Marc: He did a remarkable job. The TIE fighter is added to the photo so realistically that I couldn't tell it's not a real image, aside from the fact that it's impossible.
