About Me
- Name: Infidel753
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Note: I realize the comparison may offend some, since DeGeneres never supported an effort to take away civil rights from a group of people, as Eich did -- the Christianists attacked her for being who she is, not for anything she did. Still, I think it's noteworthy that they are denouncing tactics, at least, which they themselves have used when they took offense at a high-profile corporate hiring decision.
It's only WRONG when liberals do it.
hmmmm.... this spokesperson job you speak of....I am good type speaker, see, and am a really nice kind of person,too...is there a brewery, ya think, who may need someone like me? I do not discriminates agin nobody...even folks who drink lousy beer.

Josh Marshall at TPM makes some valid points on this issue.
Yeah, but the boycott against Ellen DeGeneres was a miserable failure, which just goes to show how we are all living under the tyranny of the jackbooted thugs of militant homosexuality! Or something like that.
