About Me
- Name: Infidel753

Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Happy New Year, Infidel! The pictures are beautiful!
I saw, on TV, the fireworks from the Space Needle in Seattle (my son actually saw the Needle this summer, I was busy so didn't see it up close!). The fireworks display was so pretty!
I hope to get to your blog more in 2012!
Happy New Year to you, dear Infidel. What lovely images.
Infidel, thank you for all your insightful posts. I look forward to more in 2012. I always learn something when I visit here.
The best to you in 2012.
And, I hope, all of us.
May it be so.
Happy New Year! Have a great 2012.
Happy New Year Mr. 753.

Thanks everyone! I hope to be doing more blog-visiting soon -- for several days my internet connection has been very unstable, but it seems to be back to normal now.
Pamela, I actually was in Seattle a few weeks ago and saw the Space Needle too -- didn't go up in it, though.
The pictures, by the way, are 2012 new year photos from (top to bottom) Hong Kong, Moscow, Berlin, London, and New York.
