Video of the week -- the voice of freedom
From Egypt. My Arabic is limited and Egyptian dialect is different from what I studied, but I can understand the chorus:
Fî kulli shâri' fî blâdî
Sowt il-horeyya bînâdî
In every street in my country
The voice of freedom is calling

I'm watching Libya and Bahrain with considerable interest right now, as are many people across the globe.
The best place I've found to follow Libya is al-Jazeera's live blog here.
Did you see the new French Ambassador's gaffe in Tunisia ?
I hope the freedom answers to their calling in Egypt and doesn't fall under the religious radicals or military.
Prash: Did you see the new French Ambassador's gaffe in Tunisia ?
Can't say I have -- are you referring to this?
Yes, I was talking about the same thing. Whole France is laughing about it now...especially when his [sexy] photo appeared online and the far right racist Marine Le Pen pointed out to the journalists the Baywatch style photo of the French Ambassador to the tele.

Why France is shocked is because, this Ambassador called himself on a TV show last november that he is a "sarko-boy" and that Khaddafi calls him "mon fils" (my son) and he also said that : in the past, khaddafi was perhaps (the word perhaps was corrected by a journalist immediately) a terrotist but not anymore and he is a good person.
He talks like Sarkozy, he walks like him and he also kinda looks like him... This gives all the attention !!!
thanks for this tips
