About Me
- Name: Infidel753
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Yeah, it's a sad story.
Benazir was a hell of a woman...
I left an extended point about all of this over at the Primordial Blog, so I won't go into all of it again.
I'll just repeat this: We (atheists, agnostics, secularists) are doing to the right thing by focus most of our ire on Christianity. Sure, Islamic fundamentalism is the biggest RELIGIOUS problem in the world. But Western Democracy is the only real hope for civilization. We have to set the example of being a totally secular society. Maybe even a radically secular one.
