The world is full of fascinating things that have nothing to do with politics

Poisonous hatred
I'm generally sympathetic to some of the goals of the animal-rights movement, but this is terrorism by any reasonable definition. And like any form of terrorism, it can achieve nothing but to enrage people against the cause on whose behalf it is committed.
Dumbasses! You're right Infidel, this can do nothing but to harm the very cause they espouse. I for one am vegan because of animal rights. That's the most passive thing I can do to help end animal testing (I also do my best to buy products of animal-free testing) and animal exploitation; such as factory farming. I myself can relate to why they did this, but I would never condone such an act. Yes it is terrorism; by the book.

Fair warning: anything supporting transgender ideology, or negative toward Brexit, or in favor of a military draft or compulsory national service, will be deleted. I am not obligated to provide a platform for views I find morally abhorrent.
No comments advocating violence against any specific identifiable individual, even jokingly.
Please be considerate -- no political or politics-tinged comments on non-political posts, and no performative cynicism (or cynicism in general).
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.
