Superpower status

The Futurist argues that the United States will remain the world's only superpower for the foreseeable future. Much of this posting deals with cultural and commercial power, but on the whole it does a good job of illustrating the absurdity of thinking that China (his example of a potential rival) or any other power is going to overtake us militarily or economically anytime soon.
