I have never understood how people could put honor for tradition, politics or religion before honor for human life. Doesn't something inside the ones doing these horrible things set of at least little warning bells that these actions are wrong?
See the link in the posting below, especially the description of "cat-burning", and recall that such things were also done to humans in those days.
As we were, all those centuries ago, so the Muslims still are today.
