Truths and inspirations for 24 November 2025

Not always true, but often true.
Why do people do this to themselves? It's nauseating.
If the pro-kink types are regularly engaging in acts that cause brain damage, that could actually explain a great deal.
Made by Pliny. Never forget that, as horrific as Epstein and his clients were, the Catholic hierarchy remains primus inter pedos.
Look at this fucking thing. This is an actual Congressional district in Texas -- and it's from the old map, before the super-gerrymander the Republicans there are now trying to impose. Gerrymandering rigs elections to the point of making them meaningless.
I vote we put this guy in charge of handling Epstein's clients after they're exposed.
Found this one on a right-wing blog.
Use plain honest language, not Orwellian gobbledygook.
She is referring to Elon Musk, of course.

Wow! Great collection this morning!
Some great gems in this collection...
--Being Jamaican by birth, thank you for the quote from Bob Marley. Sadly, we just lost Jimmy Cliff, Marley's contemporary in the reggae scene in Jamaica. Both men spread that music from Jamaica to the entire world.
--I really hope the AI bubble pops soon. ChatGPT and GenAI are just...useless and honestly are making me wish for the "Butlerian Jihad" mentioned in DUNE.
--I'm usually drawn to tattoos because I create art and I've even designed a few for clients....but there is a difference between having one or two very beautiful tattoos and going full -on "The Illustrated Man" (if you remember the Ray Bradbury novel or its film adaptation).
--G.K. Chesterton will always remain relevant.
--And yes, "antizionism" is antisemitism. And when you point this out the people while using the words of Martin Luther King Jr. who said the same thing and who defended the right of the country of Israel to exist and called out antisemitism for what it really is....you will have people accusing you of "weaponizing" King's words. Well, yes--King's words are a weapon against hatred like antisemitism and I will use them.
--Thank you for reminding us about the Achille Lauro hijacking and the murder of Leon Klinghoffer. Also remember that the hijacking of TWA 847 occurred a few months earlier. Both events have sadly been forgotten by too many people.
Always appreciate these collections--keep them coming.
Quite a good collection.
I love that you always have a fantastic collection of viewpoints to think about. Thank you for posting these.
Rade: Thanks!
Marc: Investors seem to be getting more and more nervous about "AI". I'd expect the bubble to collapse sooner rather than later.
Sorry, but I just find tattoos and piercings completely repulsive. Self-inflicted disfigurement.
It seems rather absurd to accuse anyone of "weaponizing" King's words, for simply quoting accurately what he said and meant. By that logic, if he were still here today he could be accused of weaponizing his own words.
Ricko: Thanks.
Leanna: The highest aspiration I can have is to encourage people to think, thanks. These will continue to be posted every other Monday in most cases.
Great read today. From a daily reader.
Thank you -- and thank you for being a reader!
"Give yourself enough respect to walk away from someone who does not see your worth." I really like this one.
I wish I'd had the sense and strength to act on that earlier in life.
@Infidel753: Sadly, you're not the only one who wishes this. It's the same for me and for, well, many others. :(
Sadly, I'm sure that's true.....
