Old European cities just naturally seem to look transcendently beautiful, even when it's just an ordinary street like that and not some famous building.
Daal: Thanks! I try to start with humor, then get more serious, then move to the awesome-looking pictures (mostly architecture), and end with the thought-provoking.
Pliny: I love that one! I've spent some time on the "Pliny retrospective" link on your site and there's a lot of good stuff there.
